There was a long stretch where I refused to use the word God. Then I read Conversations with God and realized that the word doesn’t really matter. So I wrote this song as a conscious exercise to “force myself” to reconnect with the word God. The “exercise” turned into one of those rare songs that feels divinely channeled as it comes through complete in one sitting.
